The Commodore Room
The Commodore Room, Aqua’s inclusive dining space, accommodates 288 guests and pays homage to its sea-faring namesake with a design inspired by the luxurious yet rustic feel of a Commodore’s launch. Every detail reflects the imagined narrative of a Commodore taking his launch from his private residence to then elegantly arriving at the pier for dinner. From the antique wooden furnishings reminiscent of a Chris Craft boat to the leathering details adorning the banquettes, the design transports diners to a bygone era of maritime sophistication. The material palette further enriches this narrative, with flooring mimicking the lines of a pier and accents of stone on the maître d stand. Light fixtures are crafted as interpretations of vessel running lights, while smaller fixtures emulate the warm glow of dock lights, adding to the authenticity of the experience.
A sense of intimacy and refinement
The layout of the Commodore Room is meticulously planned to enhance the sense of intimacy and refinement. Strategically placed divider screens creating moments of surprise and privacy. As guests step into the Commodore Room, they are greeted with the unmistakable aura of fine dining, elevated to match the caliber of Aqua’s specialty restaurants. With its attention to detail and evocative design, the Commodore Room invites diners to embark on a culinary journey imbued with the timeless elegance of seafaring tradition.
