With a notably nostalgic vibe, Seven Seas Grandeur’s Prime 7 design originates in the dining rooms of historic turn of the century New York City steakhouses. Decidedly American in nature, the Studio DADO design team wanted the space to feel intimate and rhythmic like the trolley cars that transported New Yorkers at the turn of the 20th century. Upon entering the space, guests are drawn to the maître d podium made of refracted mirror tiles, a nod to the silent films of the era. The feature wall behind the podium provides a rich texture that upon careful observation reveals a composition of gentlemen’s belts that are stacked and woven together elevating this surface to an art form.
The bar area recreates the historic city vibe with a penny-tiled marble floor design and a bar that is accentuated with toled leather and rich marble of jasper red tones.
Once inside the main dining area, guests will embrace every story each surface has to tell from the leather and metal studded detailed arcade to the beveled glass interior walls that reflect the expansive ocean views. Adding to the period feel, custom chandeliers of onyx and belted leather have been exclusively designed to shine from the wood and stitched leather ceiling. Completing the story, the restaurant features historic photography of New York.
