Atrium

The Studio DADO design team envisioned the Atrium as the starting point of a journey. As the first space guests see upon entering the ship, it was created to have a calming feeling and a sense of expansion. Spacious and uncluttered, the Atrium was inspired by the Nautilus shell and how it organically opens. The main feature is a single, expansive stair that opens the sightlines and creates a tiered shell effect. Integrated lighting and leather-wrapped rails add to the stunning drama of the structure. A floor-to-ceiling, center-point chandelier scintillates as hand-blown elements attached to fine rods cascade from the ceiling. Neutral tones and warm woods receive this light and glow with a modern and natural feel. Textured wall coverings and accent stones with exotic natural veining combine with mixed metals and woods to dance harmoniously in the space, while transitional furniture lends to a residential feel. The exterior walls mimic the shell creating rhythmic power and intrigue. Guests will find the reception and guest service areas highlighted by natural and organic stone slabs. Behind the desk is a custom piece of artwork: an ocean-inspired mural styled with a custom screen. Customization carries throughout the space, with lighting and carpet designed and created exclusively for this project by the Studio DADO team.
